For children of all ages, there are so many things to do and discover in and around Maranza.

Walks, mountain huts, pastures, infinite space. 250 days of sunshine a year. A winter paradise with exciting slopes, but also silence. A fairy-tale idyll. Pure mountain air at a height of 1440 metres.

One step away ...

Hiking trips, bike rides, skiing or sledging, all start right by the door of your chalet.
100 metres away: our farm, with chickens, calves, rabbits, goats and donkeys. With prior notice, we can deliver fresh bread, and eggs from our farm.
5 minutes' walk away: the Gitschberg ski lift
1 km away: grocery stores and baker's shop, Maranza Alpinpool, and the cable car connecting Maranza to Rio Pusteria
10 km away: Rio Pusteria train station
17 km away: Acquarena - the Bressanone swimming pool
20 km away: the charming historic town of Bressanone, with many shops, bars and restaurants. A tip for all gourmands: Pasticceria Pupp sells the tastiest croissants, and Pradetto makes the best gelato in Bressanone.

Winter magic

Your adventures in the snow will soon begin! Fun on skis and lots of variety...

... on the slopes of the Gitschberg-Jochtal ski area: the ski lifts to 55 km of slopes are just a 5-minute walk away. Highlights: the new "Ski Espress" 10-seater cable car, and the two new ski slopes - "Wastl
Huber" & "Gimmy Fun Ride". You can keep your skis and snowboards in our ski store.
Other ski areas: Plose (20 km), Plan de Corones (30 km) and Sellaronda (40 km).
You can start your ski trips or sled rides just outside the chalet door. We rent out sleds.
